We were misled. We had a reservation with Bistro d'Henri. The owner said he had our reservation but the restaurant was full so they had to send us to their other restaurant down the street called Chez Julien. He assured us everything there was the same including the menu. We got there and the atmosphere was a complete disappointment. The menu was not the same. The food was not good. We've never experienced or heard of a bait and switch like this before.
Try the goat cheese salad. Simple and delicious. The lamb shank is cooked to perfection, as is the beef tartare- just the right addition of cornichons and mustard. Perfect late night dinner, warm atmosphere and easy simplicity.
