Thought id try it after cell service so slow (as I needed help with the menu) but they don’t have WiFi and I totally get it. Stumbled thru ordering but got it, again thanks to waiter.
Note to self: Sunday night after 8 pm and NO ONE In restaurant. Not really what I’m looking for while in Paris and can’t point to anyone but myself as at fault as Sunday evenings prob aren’t prime time for people to dine.
They give you these little pieces of saucisson before your food, delish. Thank you for a lovely evening!
The host was lovely and charming. The prices are correct (if not a bargain, really). The food is solid but not especially memorable. The night we went there were only English-speaking clientele.
Have gone to Bistrot d’Henri for decades. Tried his Chez Julien spot and it was equally delish and a bit quieter with more space just around the corner from the original. Nice service. Food superb. Highly recommend.
We were misled. We had a reservation with Bistro d'Henri. The owner said he had our reservation but the restaurant was full so they had to send us to their other restaurant down the street called Chez Julien. He assured us everything there was the same including the menu. We got there and the atmosphere was a complete disappointment. The menu was not the same. The food was not good. We've never experienced or heard of a bait and switch like this before.
