We came. We left the minute we realised that the menu was not the one posted on THEIR website. When I express my disapointment to the person who greeted us, it was not a big deal that the online menu did not match the one in house... 🙄
It was a lovely place, delicious lamb, le garçon couldn’t have been nicer. I had thought I was making at other restaurant but it appeared the same people so I went with it, kids I think took over parents. I’ll try again before I leave to get original place. I usually don’t get on any public WiFi but i
Thought id try it after cell service so slow (as I needed help with the menu) but they don’t have WiFi and I totally get it. Stumbled thru ordering but got it, again thanks to waiter.
Note to self: Sunday night after 8 pm and NO ONE In restaurant. Not really what I’m looking for while in Paris and can’t point to anyone but myself as at fault as Sunday evenings prob aren’t prime time for people to dine.
They give you these little pieces of saucisson before your food, delish. Thank you for a lovely evening!
The host was lovely and charming. The prices are correct (if not a bargain, really). The food is solid but not especially memorable. The night we went there were only English-speaking clientele.
Have gone to Bistrot d’Henri for decades. Tried his Chez Julien spot and it was equally delish and a bit quieter with more space just around the corner from the original. Nice service. Food superb. Highly recommend.
